Red Elephant

In May of 1947, a 35-year-old creative director at Grey Advertising in New York wrote a one-page memo to his bosses.

His name was Bill Bernbach. For two years he had watched his agency get bigger, slower, and more cautious. The place was drowning in technicians who could recite every rule of advertising and not produce, between them, a single goddamn ad worth remembering.

"I'm worried that we're going to fall into the trap of bigness, that we're going to worship techniques instead of substance, that we're going to follow history instead of making it."

Grey's leadership read it. Grey's leadership thanked him for his perspective. Grey's leadership did absolutely fuck-all.

Two years later, he walked.

Bernbach quit. He co-founded a small, unfashionable agency on Madison Avenue with two partners and a fraction of Grey's budget. Do you outsource any of the work?

A program is a defined engagement with a clear outcome, process, deliverables, timeline, and price. It is not an open-ended bucket of agency hours.

What is BrandOS?

BrandOS is NEON90's flagship program for codifying your startup's brand communication. It turns your narrative, positioning, messaging, voice, content... examples, and communication rules into one usable system your team, contractors, and AI agents can use to create consistent, on-brand work. The final output typically includes a strategic brand playbook, practical copy examples, channel guidance, and AI assets such as prompts, custom GPT instructions, or Claude-ready workflows. Exact deliverables, formats, timeline, and scope are defined before we begin and specified in the contract.

What is Mindshare?

Mindshare is NEON90's brand awareness campaign program for startups that want to become known for a specific idea, product story, category position,... or point of view. We define what the brand should be remembered for, then turn that into a campaign concept, messaging system, creative direction, and campaign-ready assets such as landing page copy, ad copy, founder posts, email angles, scripts, and rollout guidance. Mindshare gives your internal team, media buyer, or existing agency the strategy and assets needed to execute the campaign. If additional production support is needed, it can be scoped separately before the engagement begins.

What is Signals?

Signals is NEON90's executive visibility program for founders, CEOs, and senior leaders at B2B startups. It helps turn what your leadership team... knows, believes, and sees in the market into consistent public content that strengthens the company brand. The program can include POV extraction, executive voice development, content pillars, idea banks, LinkedIn posts, essays, profile positioning, editorial calendars, and review cycles. Exact deliverables and cadence are defined before we begin.

Are you going to introduce more programs?

Yes. NEON90 will expand carefully over time, but every program must connect to the same core goal: helping startups build sharper, more distinct, more... memorable brand communication that enables faster growth.

The Process

How does an engagement actually start?

You fill out the form and pick the program that seems closest to what you need. We then continue by call or email to clarify goals, scope,... deliverables, KPIs, timeline, and payment structure. After that, we'll send you the contract, you complete the agreed payment, and the work begins.

How long does this take?

From inquiry to kickoff, it usually takes 7-10 days. We respond to form submissions within 24 hours, schedule a call based on mutual availability,... finalize scope after the call, then begin once the contract and payment are complete.

How involved do we have to be?

It depends on the program, but we prefer useful involvement from you and your team. That may include interviews, async answers, Loom recordings, email... threads, shared docs, or Slack/Chat conversations depending on what is easiest for your team.

What if we dislike the work?

We build in regular check-ins so misalignment is caught early. Each engagement has clear approval points, and we revisit the work against the agreed... brief until the final direction is strong and usable.

What does the final deliverable look like?

It depends on the program. Deliverables may include PDFs, Google Docs, shared folders, AI assets, prompts, custom GPT/Claude instructions, campaign... documents, or other agreed assets. The exact format is defined before work begins.

Pricing

What does it cost?

Each NEON90 program has a defined starting price and engagement structure. The final investment depends on the program you choose, whether it is... one-time or ongoing, and the level of deliverables required. Pricing, payment structure, scope, and timeline are confirmed before work begins and specified in the contract.

Do you offer payment plans?

Yes. Payment structure is finalized before work begins and included in the contract. Most one-off programs require part of the payment upfront and the... remainder at completion. Ongoing work is usually billed monthly.

Is there a refund or guarantee?

Because of the nature of work, the initial payment is not refundable. To reduce risk, we use clear scopes, progress updates, check-ins, and approval... points. If the engagement is still not a fit, the remaining unpaid balance may be waived according to the contract.

Do you offer retainers or one-off engagements?

Yes. Some programs are one-off engagements with a defined final deliverable. Others may be structured as retainers or ongoing support depending on the... type of work.

Working Together

How do we communicate during the engagement?

After kickoff, we create a dedicated client hub inside Google Workspace. Deliverables live in a shared Google Drive folder, drafts and approvals... happen in Google Docs, calls happen on Google Meet, weekly updates are sent by email, and quick questions happen in Google Chat.

What project management tools do you use?

Google Workspace is the default source of truth. But if your team already works inside Slack, Notion, Asana, ClickUp, or another stack, we can plug... into your workflow instead.

How can we reach you if we have questions?

You can reach us through the agreed communication channel: usually email for important updates, Google Chat for quick questions, and comments inside... Google Docs for feedback on specific deliverables.

What do you need from us before starting?

We may ask for anything that helps us understand the business: your website, pitch deck, existing messaging, sales material, product notes, campaign... examples, customer insights, or team context. You do not need to prepare everything upfront. Share what you have, and we will guide the rest.

Can you work asynchronously?

Yes. Most of the engagement happen asynchronously through docs, Loom, email, and chat. Calls are used when live discussion will save time or improve... the work.

Who owns the final work?

You own the final approved deliverables after payment is complete. NEON90 may request permission to reference the work publicly, but nothing is shared... without approval.

Do you sign NDAs?

Yes, when needed. We are used to working with sensitive strategy, positioning, internal communication, and growth material.
